The firm began as Yarger & Associates in 1953 when consultant James O. Yarger started the business. Later the firm evolved with the turning over of the ranges to Floyd A. Decker The company name was changed to Yarger Decker & Associates a nationally recognized human resource and compensation consulting firm.  Yarger Decker Associates has had a serve history of more than 800 public sector clients establishing a solid reputation in 48 states. In 1981 Richards T. Bennett started Bennett Associates an executive search firm. Bennett Associates had served public sector clients by providing a range of services from executive recruitment to human resource and organizational consulting engagements.  To date, our associates have served in 32 states delivering over 650 engagements to over 500 clients. The two firms merged creating Bennett Yarger Associates. Tibur Holdings started in the 1998 the primary focus of the firm was on the investment consulting services in raising capital and business strategy. Tibur Holdings and it subsidiary Tibur & Cie has over the last 10 years been an advisor in industrial, office, retail, mart, land, hotel and residential real estate businesses in Europe, United States, and South America.  Although real estate was not at its foundation, Bennett Yarger Group has grown increasingly active. The group has also entered into a variety of other diversified areas of activity, including Private equity, Venture Capital, and Hedge Fund.  In 2007 the company decided to acquire Richard T. Bennett & Co Inc. which own and operated the firm Bennett Yarger Associates, after the acquisition the name Bennett Yarger Group was adopted in 2008 after the review of the diverse group of businesses.
